We plan, design and build responsive websites, logos, videos suitable for the production of visual media. We also think that one should not do too much to be seen, which is why we try to keep things simple and easy to look at; a work that comes from your ideas. And we will always help you give life to what you want.

Alan Aerts
Founder | Creative Director
Founder and creative director of Urban Silence, Alan is your first contact with the company. With over 40 years of experience in the entertainment industry, including 25 years in design, Alan grew up in Toronto working on the very early stages of multimedia.
Alan started working in post-production with Discovery Channel in Chicago in the early 90s, initially creating music for various films and documentaries for many years. That’s when he learned the film production process and started producing independent films himself.
With the growing popularity of the internet and social media, Alan has taken an interest in the creative side of web design and sought to use these means as a form of promotion for artists of all kinds. After moving to Dublin, he began familiarizing himself with basic markup languages and working as a designer, eventually developing websites and promoting his own work, as well as that of others. This made him more interested in integrating new applications such as HTML5, WordPress, Joomla and creating websites using various multimedia sources, including audio and video. In order to adapt and wishing to become familiar with new technologies, Alan decided to return to college to optimize his skills and received a degree in Multimedia Production, including web design and development, the development of multimedia projects and the processing of digital media. Over the years, Alan has also earned various certificates including Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and Premiere through Adobe Certified Associates in San Jose, California.
In 2012, Alan founded Urban Silence to be able to use all his resources and skills to bring your ideas to life by creating unique projects inspired by you.
